Thermal Transfer Labels & Direct Thermal Labels

We offer a large variety of Direct Thermal (no ribbon required), and Thermal Transfer Labels and Cards in a variety of sizes. Email or call us if you have questions about the proper label or ribbon for your printer.

There are two basic types of thermal printer labels.

Direct Thermal Labels form an image with heat alone--no ribbon required. The small printers commonly provided by UPS, FedEx, or others are normally Direct Thermal Printers.

The Second Type of Printer is a Thermal Transfer Printer. Thermal Transfer Printers use a Ribbon which, when heated, transfers the image to the labels. This type printer has more flexibilities, such as color ribbons, and a larger variety of labels.
