Avery® has a wonderful Software Package (Wizard™ 3.1) which integrates into Microsoft Word, and makes label design and printing much easier.

Below are Word templates for many of the items we sell. One way to use a template is to add the text, images, etc., on top of the template. Then, using the draw menu, bring the template to the front, and delete it.



Instructions for using MS/Word Templates:

  • 1. Open Template in Microsoft Word
  • 2. Some templates have formatted tables as the guides. If this is the case, simply click in the table cell you want text in, and add your text. Note: To view the table grids, you will have to have gridlines set to show. To do this, click on the "Table" tab at the top of the screen. Then click "Show Gridlines".
  • 3. If the template does not have a table as your guide, then it is using a background image as your guide. In this case, you will need to add textboxes to your page and put your text in the text box.
  • 4. To add text boxes, click the "Insert" tab at the top of the screen. Then click "Text Box".
  • 5. Now add your text to the Text Box.
  • 6. Print the template and that is it.
